Founded 2014 by artist Alexander Basile and director Jan-Peter Horns in Cologne, Germany.

WE OWN YOU is an interdisciplinary agency working with film and photography within its spatial relations to create new visual strategies and contemporary imagery for corporations and institutions.

Over the last ten years Director Jan-Peter Horns *1979 has had the pleasure of working for a diverse array of companies, brands, agencies and artists. He enjoys a cordial collaborative relationship with many of them. As director, DoP, and editor Peter has won a golden record and a silver lion and has shaped the image and look of many successful artists and brands.

Conceptual artist Alexander Basile *1981 graduated with distinction from the Academy of Media Arts Cologne.He has curated numerous exhibition projects at e.g. Bundeskunsthalle Bonn, Photomuseum Thessaloniki and KIT in Düsseldorf. As a creative director and photographer he won the german photobook award in 2009 and has realized many successful global online and outdoor campaigns for international clients. In 2012 he was awarded with the Media Art Prize NRW Germany for young artists and in 2014 with the Rhein Silver Award at the New Talents Biennale.
