Claudia Sanna is a Munich-based art director and designer. Her diverse background spans graphic design, painting, illustration, photography, and set design. She consults for publishers and individual companies, develops visual concepts, designs book covers and brand identities, and combines conceptual design with a distinctive illustrative visual language. Using analog techniques, she blends traditional themes with modern design.
Her influences from North African and European cultures are reflected in her style. She brings these to life in her work with a keen sense of harmony in contrasts, translating them into vibrant swaths of color and minimalist forms.
