Thomas Munns was born in Rome in 1984, from a german mother and a father of mixed Italian and English background. He attended the German School of Rome until 2003. That same year he began studying political science at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome and at the same time began studying photography. The meeting with the master of photography Franco Fontana in 2007 plays a fundamental role in the development of his vision. In 2010, at the Superior Institute of Integrated Photography and Communication he completed a Master in advertising and fashion photography with the highest grades. At the moment he works in the Studio Ottavio Celestino for advertising and art photography.
