I’m Aleksi, a creative professional, photographer, and filmmaker. My work is guided by a commitment to both creativity and responsibility, with a meticulous approach to every project—whether it’s about pushing personal boundaries or making thoughtful, lasting choices.

My goal is to craft stories that resonate deeply, capturing the essence of the subject and the meaning behind it. My journey in the world of visuals began as a photojournalist for a music magazine, where I had the privilege of working with bands like The Hellacopters, The Flaming Sideburns, and Finntroll. This led to co-founding a production company, which produced iconic Finnish music videos that continue to be remembered today.

Over time, the company evolved into an advertising film company, collaborating with international brands to bring their stories to life on screen. After 17 years in production, I joined hasan&partners—one of Finland’s most respected and awarded agencies—as a lead creative. During my 8 years there, I helped shape ideas that bridged strategic clarity with strong visual execution, working closely with brands to craft stories that stood out and delivered.

In 2025, I’ve returned full-time to working as a filmmaker and photographer. This shift marks a return to hands-on storytelling—where concept, direction, and craft come together seamlessly. It’s where I feel most at home: behind the camera, building visual worlds with intent and integrity. Over the course of my career, I’ve collaborated with a diverse range of clients across various industries. From tech leaders like Nokia, OnePlus, and Microsoft driving innovation in connectivity, to sustainability pioneers such as Neste, UPM, and Stora Enso advancing renewable solutions, each project has offered unique opportunities to craft meaningful stories. More recently, I’ve had the privilege of working with design and digital advertising innovators like MADE THOUGHT.

I’ve also partnered with Finnish telecom leaders like Elisa, DNA, and Telia, alongside iconic brands like Fazer and Cloetta, celebrated for products like the beloved Fazer Blue chocolate.
