After training as a photographer, Tim Thiel spent 2½ years in Paris working as assistant to Peter Knaup and Claus Wickrath. He has been freelance since 1993, photographing people, fashion and still lifes for national and international advertising agencies, publishers and direct clients. Tim Thiel is a freelance photographer and member of the German Association of Freelance Photographers (BFF).
His photographs reflect a love for staging, with nothing left to chance when it comes to clarity of form. A detailed creative process produces work that makes an impact with its colour and graphic effect.His art reflects a spontaneity and creativity that result in a natural and contemporary photographic perception. Every concept inspires him time and again in its own unique way.
