GIUSY NAITANA
Copenhagen, Denmark
Born and raised in the Netherlands in a Dutch / Italian family, Giusy Naitana started her creative career in dance and music at the Scapino Ballet Academy. In 2005 she graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam with a BA in Film Editing. From 2006, she worked in Athens as an editor and assistant, and since 2009 she lives and edits in Copenhagen. Giusy loves switch between Fiction & Non Fiction and is always curious to explore new ways of storytelling in the ever shifting media landscape. Giusy has been chairwoman for Dansk Filmklipperselskab / The Society of Danish Film Editors since 2014 and co-founder and board member of TEMPO_Federation of Film Editors Associations since October 2019. Her driving ambition is to collaborate with both Scandinavian and International filmmakers/storytellers, and through her work connect with audiences all over this world.
