the photographer
Photography has always been an important part of my life. I fell in love with it as a teen, playing around with my dads analogue SLR camera and already started working as a photographer whilst going to school.
I love controlling light, regardless wether it’s about the flashlights in the studio or the available light on location.
I don’t like the “let’s fix it in postproduction”-mentality a lot of people in business have these days. For me the raw photo should already look like being ready for usage. If that’s ensured, the results after retouching and color-correction are even greater!
Within the last years I’ve been able to win the trust of great clients and agencies and I’m still approaching every opportunity to take images with the same passion as my very first assignment. It’s the craft of creating that always drives me.
the service
My degree in media design (art direction) helps me understanding your concept and also gives me the opportunity to bring in my own ideas when required.
That people are feeling good whilst standing in front of my camera is the most important thing to secure that the photo results are great. Due to my years of experience and my relaxed and emphatically nature I can always take care of having a good and calm atmosphere on set, even if it's a big production with a lot of people working in and around the set.
Shooting on a rooftop in Manhattan or taking photos out of a doors-off helicopter? No problem! I'm well connected in Europe, the US and in South Africa. That's why you can also count on my network when it's about organizing your shootings including a full production service, location- and modelscouting.
the studio
The studio is located in the south of Duisburg, 15 minutes drive away from Duesseldorf Airport (DUS) and 25 minutes drive away from my office at Duesseldorf Medienhafen.
With 250sq.m. we have enough space to realize nearly any kind of studio-production you can imagine.
