Thilo was born in Cologne, Germany in 1977 and grew up in Hamburg. From 1999 to 2005 he studied communication design, focusing on photography at the university of applied sciences in Hamburg. At the same time he worked as a freelance assistant for several renowned photographers. After his diploma in 2005 he got tired of being an assistant and managed to get his first jobs as a photographer. Since 2008 he is a professional member of the BFF (Professional Association of Freelance Photographers and Film Creators). He is focused, passionate, cares about details and is always striving for the best possible results.
