On 22 March 2014 the “Deutsche Werbefilmakademie” (German Advertising Film Academy) will be holding the “Deutscher Werbefilmpreis” ceremony (previously vdw Award) in Berlin. A total of 8 awards in 8 categories will be presented. There will also be an additional prize for the Best Debut Advertising Film.
INDEPENDENT JURY
The winners are selected by an independent jury of professionals. Each category will be evaluated and rated by professionals in their field. The jury panels consist of award winners from previous years in the respective categories.
NO ENTRY FEE
The Academy is entirely independent in all its decision-making and its sole commitment is to quality. We are a non-profit organization, so we do not need to charge entry fees.
Furthermore, anyone can propose films for entry, even those produced by somebody else.

Tickets for the ceremony (including party) cost €99
Focus of the evening will be to honour and acknowledge the best outstanding films in 8 categories and to award a prize to the best emerging filmmaker 2014.
The presentations will be followed by stimulating discussions with colleagues and industry representatives in the cinema’s Panorama Bar. For the celebrations, the guests simply go down one floor to Frösi Club for the after-show party of the Advertising Film Award 2014.
