Alex Mirtschink

Born in 1974 Alex grew up on the coast of the Baltic Sea in Germany.
After achieving experience in the advertising industry, he decided to give his visual interest a background by doing an apprenticeship as an offset printer in Berlin.
In 1999 Alex started his education as a photo-designer at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld. During his studies he was involved in intensive photo studio work at RMIT in Melbourne. Until his graduation in 2004 he was engaged in various film- and video projects and also showed his work in several exhibitions.
Since starting his professional career in Berlin as a photographer, his focus has been primarily on projects with fashion, music labels, interior and product photography. A graphic style and his experience with film/video results in the dynamic of his images.
