For 18 years I worked in a PR agency, as Project Manager, and later, as Senior Account Manager. Apart from other things, I created project identity graphics, made layouts of brochures and corporate magazines. Due to my mother’s illness I had to make a drastic career change. I am now working from home as a freelance artist, illustrator and designer. For the last eight years I worked for different clients, such as adverting and design agencies, publishing professionals, small businesses and individual clients.
 
Having a background in PR helps me in building client relations, ensuring a good understanding of brand identities and marketing needs. As a professional illustrator, I now have a chance to fulfill my lifelong inclination to drawing, painting, and creating visual materials.
 
I make a lot of illustrations in line art style – vintage botanical drawings, food illustrations and many more. My particular specialty is oriental art known as sumi-e ink painting. Being also a fiction writer, I am particularly interested in creating book covers and illustrations.
