Mario Schmolka was born in Vienna, Austria. After graduating from the College of Photography in Vienna, he moved to Milan. While assisting in the legendary Superstudio 13 and  some of the most influential photographers, he was involved in productions for clients such as MOSCHINO, PRADA, VERSACE, VOGUE, Marie Claire,  to name a few. Mario is known for his strong yet sensual  imagery.  Besides his Fashion and Beauty work , he also portrayed numerous celebrities including Tommy Hilfiger, Aerin Lauder, Karim Rashid, Manolo Blahnik, Bar Rafaeli among others. 

His first book "Intense" was published by the german DAAB - Verlag, followed by 2 Solo Exhibitions at the UFO - Space in Frankfurt and WESTLICHT GALLERY  in  Vienna. He was also invited to be a guest lecturer at the Art Institute of NYC. Mario  won the Austrian Fashion Award in 2012. Mario and his family had been living in NYC for the past 6 years. They just recently  relocated to Los Angeles.  He divides his time between L.A., New York  and Europe.
