I am Azzurra Piccardi, after six years of practice, study, work, exhibitions and awards I have become a professional freelancer photographer.

I am available for advertising campaigns, editorial, cover, look books, model / actor book and still life.


Vita
Graduated at the University of Architecture of Florence in fashion design.

In 2008 she assisted Graziano Ferrari for the magazine “Grazia” during the catwalks of the fashion week “Milano Moda Donna A/W’09”, she worked with Antonio Manta (italian master of photographic fine art prints) as a graphic designer, where she was responsible for editing photographic books.

In early 2010 she participated as an assistant to the Angelo Marani’s advertising campaign photographed by Solve Sundsbo in London.

After that she went to New York in order to specialize in fashion photography at the School of Visual Art. Here she worked as an assistant and retoucher for Andrea Blanch, photographer who worked for most of her life with Richard Avedon. Azzurra has been considerable influenced by this environment that helped her to grow and in recent months she became Andrea Blanch art director for a project of beauty.

At the moment she works as freelance photographer, attention to detail, dreamy character and experimentation are often redundant aspects in her work, but with her feet firmly on the ground that make her sensitive to fashion and life in general, but especially to the customer needs.
